***Change to e-lessons***

Youtube is no longer allowing video to be uploaded to my Coaches Eye App.  Videos have to be kept under 3 minutes and sent via Facebook messenger until a work around can be found.  You can send up to 3 videos per assessment.

I use the ‘Coaches Eye’ App to review your 5-10 minute YouTube video sent privately (unlisted) to This app allows me to add voice over, pause and discuss tools and strategies and add mark ups for angles etc. to your video. I have been getting rave reviews from students who’ve tried it.

Cost is $75/lesson and can be paid via Paypal or e-interact to the above email address.

Preparing for and sending a private/unlisted YouTube video to The Rider Mechanic:
Wear form fitting clothing so that I am able to see body angles. Also, very helpful to wear light coloured breeches so that I can see the angle of the leg against the saddle. Have your video person, (or use one of the handy camera robots such as Soloshot or Pixio), ensure the lighting is good and the video captures both right and left sides; rider coming towards the camera and going away from camera. The whole horse and rider should be in the frame at all times as much as possible.

To send an unlisted video:
1. Sign into your YouTube Account
2. Go to your My Videos page
3. Select the video which you’d like to make an unlisted video. Click the Edit button to access the video’s settings.
4. Go to the Privacy section of the page. There you’ll see the option to mark you video as “unlisted”, “public”, or “private”. Select unlisted.
5.Don’t forget to click the Save Changes button. Once you’ve done this your video will be an unlisted video.
Put the YouTube video link, which is located directly under the "Unlisted" button, in an email to and hit send.
